Founder and Vice Chairman, Guru Nanak Academy and many allied institutions in Uttaranchal. She is working as advisor to many educational institutions governed by various N.G.O.’s in India and abroad. She is member of social welfare board U.P. Government. Former Non-Official Secretary Red Cross Society, Kanpur. Social Worker at State and National Level & member A.I.C.C. Apart from being the founder and Vice Chairman, Guru Nanak Academy and many allied institutions in Uttaranchal.

- As a Senior Vice President of U.P state Mahila Congress she carried out extensive campaigns in remote hills of Uttaranchal then U.P.
- Member, Central damajKalyan advisory Board, Govt. of India since 1990.
- Vice- Chairman, Shri Guru Nanak Public Schools for Girls and Boys In Nanak Matta Sahib of Uttaranchal.

- Being a part of government administration she was a member of District Industries Advisory Committee and as a member of District Board Kanpur in 1974.With an insight to help others she played an important role in rehabilitation of victims of 1984 riots and 1992 Hindu Muslim riots.
- Being the Office bearer of many social Organizations such as ‘Indian Red Cross Society’, Central SamajKalyan Advisory Board, RashtriyaMahilaSansthan, and A.I.W.C. Mrs. Kaur has also organized various social campaigns like Eye check-up camps, Blood donation camps, educational seminars in many districts.
